Amie Acadamy Application-Delilah Davis

      Characteristic: Good perseverance

Personal History: Delilah was born and raised in the Unova Region but spent her life in the many different cities and towns because of her single mother's job requiring them to constantly move. Because of this she was exposed to many different people, stories, and ways of life which endlessly fascinated her and also heavily influenced her to try many artistic and story telling styles which she greatly enjoyed. When it came time for her mother to be transferred to another country entirely, Delilah was thrilled about the prospect of traveling to a place with a whole different culture while at the same time feeling a sense of sadness over leaving Nimbasa City where they last settled and the place she came to love. They moved to Lumiose City in the Kalos region where she did her best but struggled to understand the French language and began to long a little for the region she left behind. But when she began to spend her afternoons at the Art Museum, she began to notice that when she looked around the museum she could easily tell what someone thought about the many works of art the museum held as well how they reacted to her sketches of those works and that's when she came to a realization. Art could communicate what others were thinking despite those language barriers and she then decided to devoted her whole life to creating works of art that people would enjoy no matter where they were from. She decided to transfer to Amie Academy to not only make things easier for her mother but to also continue to learn from others and continue to develop and push herself.
 

Personality: Like most kids who have spent their lives moving from place to place, Delilah had to learn to make friends fast. Luckily, her kind and relaxed nature has led her to very easily adapt to any surrounding she places herself. In fact, she will even adjust her tone of voice depending on what makes others around her comfortable or what the situation calls for (such as raising her voice in a loud room so that she can rally others to calm down). She can get a little lax with her studies especially when it comes to math, her weakest subject, but she will always do her best no matter what she does and will continue to work her hardest even when others tell her it's useless. She can be a little quiet and shy towards people when she's in a new place but when she meets someone, she will instantly offer a kind and soft smile along with a polite and honest gesture. When she finally considers someone a friend, she will then do her best to help them in any way she can and offer whatever advice they ask of her. She's a very accepting person and won't criticize anyone for any reason she finds to be stupid to be intolerable about.

    - Slightly above average height for a girl, standing about 5' 6 1/2"      
   
    - Actually demisexual (meaning she isn't sexually attracted to someone unless she has a deep emotional connection or romantic connection with them)

    -Writes her own stories and draws her own comics but lets few people read them because she believes they aren't good enough for others to read them yet

    -Is a little self conscious about herself and sometimes goes on trips of self doubt

    -Has many fandoms from anime and manga to fairy tales to classic black and white horror movies to superhero movies to animated movies in general

    -Is a fairly good singer and will sometimes sing along with whatever song she's listening to on her MP3 player

    -Likes to dance but doesn't think she's all that good so she prefers to stay at the back in case she might make a mistake so it won't be easily noticed

    -Enjoys fantasy RPG video games and otome games but has trouble playing some games if they're not on a handheld device which she admits is rather strange

     -Can take a lot of stress and negativity directed towards her but when it gets to be too much she will react in an almost drastic fashion (i.e. fainting or crying from too much stress and/or yelling and insulting others when angered enough)

    -Always carries a sketchbook or drawing pad in her hand and a drawing pencil in her ponytail holder in case the mood to draw strikes her

    -Should she meet someone who is egotistical and stuck up, she will continue to be polite towards them even when they insult her

    -A chunk of her hair is highlighted pink which was done by a friend of her's back in Unova

    -Enjoys reading fantasy and romance novels

    -While she does wish to have a romantic relationship and meet someone special to share her time with, she has a hard time telling whether or not someone has a genuine romantic attraction to her. This is why she's had many friends but no boyfriends or girlfriends to speak of.

    -Has no siblings and doesn't know her father, only has her mother Ava (an Espeon) and a few cousins, aunts, and uncles

    -"No problem" is kind of her catchphrase especially when someone thanks her for doing something

    -It may not seem like it but there's a lot she keeps inside. When you get to know her, you begin to really see what's beneath that strong exterior.
